Salesman sells almost all items in employer’s shop, hands proceeds to his girlfriend

A salesman has reportedly landed in trouble after he allegedly sold almost all the items in his employer’s shop and handed over the entire proceeds to his girlfriend during her visit.

According to Crime Check Ghana, the suspect allegedly committed the act while his employer was away and had left the shop in his care.

The incident reportedly came to light when his employer returned and found the shop almost empty with no money available to account for the sales.

Upon questioning, the salesman is said to have admitted giving the proceeds to his girlfriend.
