Students Demand Justice Over Taraba Undergraduates Health Crisis

Concern has been expressed by the Community of Kuteb Students (CKS), Federal University Wukari (FUW) chapter, Taraba State.
Regarding the health status of Miss Faith Dan-Asabe Amindi, a student at Taraba State University, Jalingo, who is allegedly going through a serious mental breakdown as a result of an abuse incident.
In a special appeal on Friday, the student body asked the Taraba State Government, security services, and other pertinent authorities to start a thorough, open, and unbiased inquiry into the facts surrounding the said occurrence.
According to a statement signed by the President of CKS, Rimamfenten B. Emmanuel, the association stressed the need for justice and accountability, calling on authorities to ensure that anyone found culpable faces the full weight of the law.
The statement noted that a fair and thorough investigation would help uncover the truth while protecting the rights and dignity of all individuals involved.
Beyond the call for justice, CKS appealed for urgent medical attention, psychological care and rehabilitation support for Miss Amindi to aid her recovery and help her regain confidence and hope for the future, stressing that the protection of every citizen, especially students, remains a collective responsibility.
The association urged government institutions, security agencies and members of the public to unite in safeguarding the welfare, safety and rights of students across Taraba State.
Reaffirming its commitment to advocating for student wellbeing and calling for swift action to prevent similar situations and ensure vulnerable individuals receive the support they need.
