Teni Unveils New EP The Wellness Package With Fresh Sound And Global Push

Award-winning Nigerian singer, composer, and performer Teni has finally released “The Wellness Package,” her much awaited new EP.

The project, which represents profound personal growth, healing, and discovering joy in daily life, is one of the most deliberate phases of her career.

Inspired by Teni’s experiences over the previous several years, “The Wellness Package” is more than simply a compilation of songs; it’s an open invitation into her world that frames wellness as a lifestyle based on community, love, laughter, and daily self-care rather than as a standard of perfection.

This release also marks a significant strategic development, with Teni now partnering with Gamma to broaden her creative reach internationally.

Larry Jackson, the label’s founder and CEO, praised the partnership, pointing to Teni’s distinct ability to resonate with audiences worldwide.

Sipho Dlamini, President of Gamma Africa, remarked that Teni keeps raising the standard for African music and culture, while Larry Gaaga, the label’s VP for Africa, described the project as a genuine representation of where Teni is in her life and career at present.

On the musical side, the EP showcases Teni’s familiar narrative-driven style alongside notable collaborators including Olamide, Chike, and The Cavemen.

Standout tracks on the project include “Zion,” featuring Olamide, and “Wuru Maya,” with Chike.

Reflecting on the creative direction behind the new body of work, Teni described it as simply following her mood at the time, explaining that the new year brought a certain energy she wanted to capture, and that even when things slow down, they never fully stop.

Departing from conventional album rollouts, “The Wellness Package” extends into a series of interactive experiences for fans.

These include a cinematic teaser campaign, a “Wellness Package Run Club” aimed at encouraging movement and community connection, a treasure hunt offering fans access to exclusive wellness boxes, and a listening party designed to feel like an intimate visit into Teni’s own living space.

The EP arrives on the back of major momentum from her recent single “Zion,” which has racked up more than twenty million streams, inspired over 500,000 user-generated TikTok videos, topped YouTube Nigeria’s chart, and claimed top spots on both Spotify and Apple Music.

Having already performed at major stages such as Coachella alongside DJ Spinall, Madison Square Garden with Davido, Montreal’s MURAL Festival, and London’s O2 Arena, Teni continues to cement her place as one of Africa’s most distinctive and dynamic artists.

With this new project, she offers a celebration centred on self-discovery, community, and the everyday moments that make up true wellbeing.
