Transfer: FC Midtylland snap up Nigerian youngster

Nigerian youngster Ikenna Prosper Ude-Chukwu has joined Danish club FC Midtylland, DAILY POST reports.
Ude-Chukwu linked up with the Danish Superliga giants from Nigerian club FC Ebedei.
The 19-year-old will be part of FC Midtylland’s U-19 team from where he is expected to graduate to the main team.
The young defender is delighted to make the switch to Denmark.
“It’s really big for me to sign a contract with FC Midtjylland – and for my family too. It’s my first contract, so I’m of course incredibly happy. It’s a dream for me, so I’m grateful to have the opportunity,” Ude-Chukwu told the club’s official website.
He will be hoping to follow in the footsteps of the likes of Frank Onyeka, Paul Onuachu, and Raphael Onyedika, who made a name for themselves at FC Midtylland before moving to other top clubs in Europe.
