US taxpayer millions allegedly stolen by Tinubu’s inner circle

A US based legal and investigative group has called for a congressional investigation into allegations that funds linked to World Bank supported projects in Nigeria were misused by senior government officials.

In a series of posts on X, Von Batten Montague York LC said its president, Dr. Von Batten, had briefed US Congressman Ronny Jackson and senior officials at the US Treasury and the World Bank about allegations involving a Nigerian presidential agency.

According to the group, a man identified as Adeyemi was offered asylum in the United States after reaching out with major corruption allegations. He had prepared to deliver evidence and a sworn statement to senior members of President Trump’s administration. Instead, Nigerian authorities arrested him at the last moment.

Dr. Von Batten says the arrest occurred shortly after it became public that his team was in contact with Adeyemi and just before key materials could reach the Trump team. He believes President Bola Tinubu’s Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila, pushed for the quick arrest to stop the exposure.

According to Adeyemi’s account, Gbajabiamila appointed him to lead a new Nigerian presidential agency, provided government office space, opened official bank accounts through the Central Bank of Nigeria, and inserted the agency into the national budget with nearly one million dollars in funding tied to the World Bank. The United States is the World Bank’s largest shareholder, meaning American taxpayers are directly involved.

Gbajabiamila later demanded 45 percent of the agency’s allocated funds. When Adeyemi refused, the agency was labeled fake, retaliation began, and threats were made against him and his family. Adeyemi went into hiding for safety.

Dr. Von Batten personally spoke with Adeyemi this morning, described him as sincere and credible, and immediately took strong action. He had already briefed senior members of President Trump’s team over the weekend. Today he briefed Congressman Ronny Jackson along with senior officials at the U.S. Treasury and the World Bank. He has now assigned an associate to work full time on the matter.

The team is working to obtain a sworn affidavit from Adeyemi and plans to send it to every Republican and Democratic member of Congress for review. Dr. Von Batten has warned President Tinubu that he will be held responsible and face U.S. justice if any harm comes to Adeyemi or his family while he is ready to cooperate with American officials.

This situation supports President Trump’s warnings about U.S. taxpayer funds being stolen by corrupt foreign governments. Dr. Von Batten and his firm are calling for full investigations by Congress, the State Department, Treasury Department, GAO, Justice Department, and other agencies.
