Women Across Sagbama, Ekeremor Endorse Bernard Kenebai for House of Representatives Seat

YENAGOA — Women drawn from Sagbama and Ekeremor Local Government Areas of Bayelsa State have unanimously endorsed Hon. Bernard Kenebai as their preferred candidate for the Sagbama/Ekeremor Federal Constituency seat in the House of Representatives ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The endorsement was announced during a courtesy visit by the women to Hon. Kenebai, where they expressed confidence in his leadership and capacity to effectively represent the interests of the federal constituency.
Speaking on behalf of the delegation, the women reaffirmed their loyalty to the All Progressives Congress (APC) and pledged to mobilise massive grassroots support to ensure the success of Hon. Kenebai and the party in the 2027 elections.
They described Kenebai as a committed, accessible and visionary leader whose dedication to the welfare, empowerment and development of the people has earned him widespread admiration across the constituency.
According to the women, his track record of service and his close relationship with the grassroots make him the most suitable person to represent Sagbama/Ekeremor in the Green Chamber of the National Assembly.
They further assured him of their readiness to work tirelessly across communities in both local government areas to rally support for his aspiration, expressing confidence that his emergence would bring quality representation and accelerated development to the constituency.
Responding, Hon. Bernard Kenebai expressed gratitude for the endorsement and the confidence reposed in him by the women.
He commended them for their unity, commitment and dedication to the progress of the APC, assuring them that he would continue to remain connected to the people and work towards promoting inclusive development, effective representation and improved opportunities for the people of Sagbama and Ekeremor Federal Constituency.
The endorsement is widely seen as another boost to Hon. Kenebai’s growing support base as political consultations and grassroots mobilisation gather momentum ahead of the 2027 general elections.
