45 Year Old Man Killed in Plateau Village Attack

Unidentified attackers killed Mabur Simon, a 45-year-old man, in Maori Village, Mbar District, Bokkos Local Government Area, Plateau State.

Troops of Sector 5, Operation Enduring Peace, responded to reports of an att@ck and k!lling in a community on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, at approximately 9:20 a.m.

The military personnel mobilised immediately and confirmed the incident had occurred.

Details surrounding the circumstances of the k!lling remain unclear.

Security personnel have initiated investigations to identify those responsible and establish the motive behind the att@ck.

Troops continue maintaining vigilance in the area to prevent further incidents and provide reassurance to residents.
