Convicted family k!ller Chris Watts applies to marry woman he met in prison

Convicted family killer Chris Watts is reportedly seeking to marry again while serving multiple life sentences for the murders of his pregnant wife and two young daughters.

Watts has reportedly applied to marry Lizzie Henderson, an Ohio realtor he met while incarcerated. Henderson’s relatives told the Daily Mail that the pair submitted an application to marry while Watts remains behind bars.

Henderson has also reportedly begun using the name “Lizzie Watts” and filed a confidential petition to legally change her name. Court records cited by PEOPLE confirm that a Lizzie Henderson filed a name-change case, although details of the petition remain sealed.

Henderson reportedly moved from Ohio to Wisconsin to be closer to Watts, who is being held at Dodge Correctional Institution. She has since become a regular visitor to the maximum-security prison.

She confirmed the relationship to the Daily Mail, acknowledging that some people may consider it “weird” but declining to explain how the pair met. She said their relationship was between herself, Watts and God. Watts is serving five life sentences without the possibility of parole after pleading guilty to murdering his pregnant wife, Shanann Watts, and their daughters, Bella and Celeste, in Colorado in August 2018.
