Court remands 2 over alleged m8rder of man accused of theft in Kano

A Magistrates’ Court in Kano has remanded two youths in a correctional centre over their alleged involvement in the m8rder of a man accused of stealing. 

The defendants, Manya Usaini and Abdu Usaini Boda, were arraigned before the court presided over by Magistrate Sarki Ibrahim Sarki after the conclusion of a police investigation.

They were charged with criminal conspiracy and culpable homicide.

After the charges were read to them, the magistrate ordered their remand at a correctional centre until September 23, 2026, pending advice from the government.

The defendants were alleged to have k!lled one Aliyu Isyaku by attacking him with a machete, an incident that reportedly led to his d3ath.

The incident occurred in Karfi village in Kura Local Government Area of Kano State.
