Daniel Bwala, the President’s special adviser on policy communication, has once again insisted he never called Bola Tinubu an illegitimate president.
Speaking on the KAA TRUTHS podcast, Bwala said it was activist Aisha Yesufu of the Nigeria Democratic Congress who made that claim about the President.
Bwala blamed Yesufu’s continued view of Tinubu as illegitimate on her lack of legal knowledge.
He said no one in Nigeria, not even opposition figures like Kenneth Okonkwo, had called the President illegitimate except Yesufu because she doesn’t understand the law.
Bwala argued that even if an election was flawed, once it goes to the Supreme Court and the highest court rules it valid, people should accept the decision.
He insisted he had never made such a comment himself and challenged anyone to produce evidence if they claimed otherwise.
