A family has sparked reactions online after visiting a zoo in Yola, Adamawa State, and reportedly discovering statues of animals displayed inside the enclosures instead of live animals.
The unusual discovery was shared on Facebook by Yakaka Yerima, who expressed shock and amusement after visiting the facility.
According to her, the family paid ₦500 per person to see the animals but were surprised to find what appeared to be animal statues in some of the enclosures.
“We entered a zoo in Yola yesterday and paid 500 naira per person to view the animals, only to be shocked by these statues,” she wrote.
The post has since attracted reactions from social media users, with many expressing surprise over the reported condition of the zoo.
