Fire Guts St Louis College Hostel in Jos

A fire broke out at one of the student accommodations at St Louis College in Jos, Plateau State capital on Thursday evening, triggering alarm among residents.
The blaze ignited at 6pm and consumed furniture, bedding and other personal belongings within the hostel.
The incident occurred while students were away on holiday, preventing potential loss of life.
Eyewitness accounts documented extensive destruction of property in the affected residential facility, with mattresses and furnishings consumed by the flames.
As of the time of reporting, the underlying cause of the fire remained undetermined and it was unclear whether emergency responders had brought the situation under control.
