A man accused of stealing a motorbike was made to strip off his clothes and carry the vehicle above his head as residents paraded him around the neighbourhood, in a public act of mob justice captured on video.
According to the account, the alleged thief was forced to hoist the motorbike overhead while being escorted through the community, with residents ensuring he was seen by as many people as possible along the way.
Out of fear that resisting could lead to physical harm, he reportedly cooperated fully with the group’s instructions.
The video has since circulated online, drawing mixed reactions from viewers. While some justified the act as a fitting response to the alleged theft, others raised concerns about the growing trend of public shaming and mob-style justice in place of formal police action.
It remains unclear whether the matter was eventually reported to the police or resolved informally within the community.
