It Is the Police who will decide whether or not Senator Fadahunsiâs statement was illegal or not – APC publicity secretary, Felix Morka
The National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress APC, Felix Morka, says it is only the police that can determine if the ‘’k!ll them” comment made by Osun East Senator, Francis Fadahunsi, was illegal or not.
While speaking on Arise TV last night, Morka said;
‘’It is not for any of us to be second-guessing what was said or not said; that is the job of the police. He has been invited to explain his comments, and we must wait for the police to do their jobs and properly put his statements in context.”
On Tuesday, August 11, Davido shared a video of Senator Fadahunsi speaking to some APC supporters ahead of Saturday, August 15, Osun guber election, Davido who is an indigine of the state, quoted the Senator who spoke in Yoruba, as saying
‘’“From now on, whenever you see Accord members, kill them. I authorise you to kill them. They have wives and children too. This is a Federal Government election. On election day, even if they come with voters card, we wont allow them to vote”
The comment has been wiely condemned by many. Fadahunsi has since dismissed it claiming the video being ciriculated of him speaking was AI generated and that what he meant was that the APC members should k!ll the Accord Party members with their votes during the election.
