Kenyan man remarries 7 months after his wife’s d3ath

A Kenyan man, Dan Ambiya ‘Lampard’ has remarried seven months after the d3ath of his wife, Harriet Eshimuli, a development that has sparked mixed reactions among Kenyans, who questioned the timing of the remarriage.
Harriet passed away on January 14, 2026, after a brain tissue rupture due to blood pressure complications.
While Dan and his new wife, Olivia’s wedding has attracted congratulatory messages, sections of online users have questioned how Lampard chose to remarry so soon following the loss of his wife.
Others have defended his decision, arguing that grief is deeply personal and that losing a spouse should not condemn someone to a lifetime without companionship.
Some Kenyans, including friends of his late wife, suggested that Olivia has always been in the picture and Dan cheated on his late wife.
One claimed that the new wife attended Harriet’s funeral.
