Media personality Teddy Don-Momoh, has been thrown into mourning following the sudden death of his wife, Lara Kudayisi, popularly known as Coach Lara, on Sunday, August 2.
The family therapist reportedly passed away just two weeks after the couple welcomed their first child together, a baby girl. Don-Momoh was previously married to the late Nigerian gospel singer Kefee Obareki Momoh. The “Branama” hitmaker passed away from lung failure in June 2014 after spending fifteen days in a coma.
In an official statement, the Don-Momoh family expressed deep appreciation to friends and well-wishers for their outpouring of love and prayers during this devastating time. They noted that further details regarding funeral arrangements will be shared in due course. Coach Lara is survived by her newborn daughter, her husband, and two children from a previous relationship
May her soul rest in peace, Amen.
