A woman has shared how her relationship ended after she spent a large amount of money bringing her Nigerian boyfriend to the United Kingdom.
She said they were planning to get married, so she supported his relocation financially.
According to the woman, she paid for his UK visa and part of his flight ticket. She also paid for his hotel when he arrived and needed to self-isolate.
“Yes, I brought him to the UK. I paid for his visa to come to the UK. I paid part of his ticket to come to the UK, and when he arrived in the UK, I put him in a hotel so that he could self-isolate.
I used my money. And then after that, I put him in a rented house with my money. Yeah, I did that.
Mind you, he broke up with me four months, only four months after he came the UK, and only a few weeks short of our wedding.”
The woman said the man ended their relationship four months after arriving in the UK.
Their breakup reportedly happened only a few weeks before their planned wedding. She was left to deal with the financial loss and emotional pain.
The woman also claimed that the man and his family asked her not to tell the UK Home Office that their relationship had ended.
“And then he and his family had the guts to ask me not to tell the Home Office that we were no longer together. He still wanted to be in the UK, even though he had broken up with me.
Yeah, men, right?”
