Shettima arrives Port-Harcourt to inaugurate landmark project

Vice President Kashim Shettima, on Thursday arrived in Port-Hacourt, the Rivers State Capital, to commission the newly reconstructed 33.5 kilometers Elele/Egbeda/Omoku Dual Carriageway.
On arrival at the Port-Hacourt International Airport, Shettima was received by Gov. Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers, former Deputy governor of Rivers, Tele Ikuru, Sen. John Mbata, Chief Oris Onyiri, Dr. Sam Sam Jaja, and other top government officials.
The Secretary to the Rivers State Government, Dr Dagogo Wokoma, said project was a tangible evidence of governor Fubara’s unwavering dedication to addressing the developmental needs of the people of the state.
Mr Wokoma stated that the dual carriageway was one of the major road projects delivered by the Fubara-led administration aimed at improving connectivity and boosting economic activities across the state.
