Woman Charged After Alleged Scissor Attack Leaves Four Men Injured in London

A woman is scheduled to appear in court following an incident in which four men sustained stab injuries in central London.

The 47-year-old defendant has been charged with four counts of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and one count of possessing an offensive weapon in a public place.

She is due before magistrates this afternoon.

The four victims, aged 34, 39, 42 and 52, were transported to a major trauma centre with non-life-threatening injuries after being stabbed with scissors on Endell Street at approximately 12:30 p.m. yesterday. All four have since been discharged from hospital.

According to police records, emergency services responded within minutes of receiving reports. An air ambulance helicopter was observed landing at a nearby location.

The incident occurred near a theatre featuring a musical production.

Two men were reportedly stabbed in the back with scissors outside the venue, whilst others were attacked further along the street.

Witnesses described seeing victims with visible injuries, including one individual with blood-soaked clothing and another with bandaging applied to torso areas.

A substantial police cordon was established across a considerable distance along the street, with officers conducting interviews with individuals before entry to buildings.

A local business proprietor described the victims as individuals who had been moving about the area with no apparent connection to the assailant.

A homelessness charity operating in the vicinity expressed concern for those affected and confirmed cooperation with emergency services to ensure the safety of supported individuals and staff members.

A senior police official confirmed that officers had responded promptly following multiple emergency calls.
