2027: Tunji-Ojo, group targets 95% girls help for Tinubu in Ondo

The Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, is mobilising girls throughout Ondo State’s 18 native authorities areas to help the re-election bid of President Bola Tinubu forward of the 2027 basic elections.

This was disclosed on Friday in Akure by a former Commissioner for Neighborhood Improvement and Cooperative Providers within the state, Yetunde Adeyanju, throughout a stakeholders’ assembly of the Asiwaju Mandate Group, a political organisation aligned with the minister.

Adeyanju stated the ladies’s wing of the group had been given a goal to mobilise not less than 95 per cent of girls within the state in help of the President’s second-term ambition.

“The congresses are behind us, and we are actually centered on mobilising girls throughout the state for Asiwaju’s re-election in 2027.

“The Minister of Interior has given the ladies’s wing a transparent goal—to make sure that not less than 95 per cent of girls in Ondo State help the President. That’s the reason mobilisation efforts are being intensified to make sure no girl is overlooked,” she stated.

In his remarks, the Director-Normal of the group, Olumuyiwa Asagunla, stated the organisation had regained momentum after current political challenges and was repositioning for aggressive grassroots mobilisation.
