Ruby Rose, 40, made the claims on Threads on Sunday while reacting to an article about Perry attending Coachella. In one post, she wrote: “Katy Perry s3xually ass@ulted me at Spice Market Nightclub in Melbourne. Who gives a s**t what she thinks.”

As reaction grew online, Rose shared further details about the alleged incident and said she had previously disguised it as a joke. She wrote: “After it, I threw up on her. I told the story publicly but changed it to be a ‘funny drunk story’ because I didn’t know how else to handle it.”

Rose also claimed she stayed quiet for years because Perry later offered to help her with a visa matter. “Later she agreed to help me get my US visa. So I kept it a secret. But I did tell ya’ll she wasn’t a good persona. Instead I got attacked by everyone,” she said. She added: “The psychological manipulation was strong with that one.”

Reflecting on why she was speaking publicly now, Rose wrote: “I was in my early 20s, I’m now 40. It has taken me almost two decades to say this publicly.” She continued: “Though I am so grateful to have made it long enough to find my voice, it just shows how much of an impact trauma and s3xual ass@ult takes. Thank you for seeing me.”

Perry, 41, denied the claims through a representative, who described the accusations as entirely false. In a statement, her spokesperson said: “The allegations being circulated on social media by Ruby Rose about Katy Perry are not only categorically false, they are dangerous reckless lies.”

The statement went further, saying: “Ms. Rose has a well-documented history of making serious public allegations on social media against various individuals, claims that have repeatedly been denied by those named.”

The claims surfaced as Perry attended the first weekend of Coachella with her boyfriend, former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. She had shared photos and videos from the festival, including clips of the pair holding hands and dancing during Justin Bieber’s set.

According to sources, Perry and Rose have had a difficult relationship for years. One insider said: “Ruby and Katy have a complicated backstory, they’ve never really been friends.” The source added: “This allegation has come as a massive shock to everyone, though.
