Now, the 4-year-old buffalo is being rehomed in the country’s national zoo.
While albino buffaloes are remarkably rare in Bangladesh, the animal’s internet stardom was ultimately what saved its life.
Mridha’s younger brother was the first to spot the resemblance between their cattle and the US President.

Mridha insisted that the buffalo’s temperament is different from Trump’s.
“It is very calm in nature. Albino buffaloes are generally peaceful and do not become aggressive unless provoked,” he explained to NDTV.
