Ex-Labour Party Youth Leader Blasts Peter Obi Over Alleged Lack of Political Structure

Former Labour Party National Youth Leader, Prince Kennedy Ahanotu, has criticised Peter Obi, accusing the former presidential candidate of failing to build lasting political structures and abandoning those who support him.
Speaking on a television programme, Ahanotu argued that Obi’s political history revealed a pattern of moving from one platform to another without strengthening existing structures, and questioned his commitment to the parties he had been affiliated with over the years.
“Peter Obi is not a builder of men; he abandons his own people,” he said, maintaining that genuine leadership required developing institutions and empowering followers rather than relying solely on personal popularity.
The former Labour Party chieftain stressed that strong political leadership should be measured by the ability to nurture loyal structures capable of outlasting an individual’s influence.
