JUST IN: Nollywood Mourns As Popular Yoruba Actor Adeshina Okiki Oshin Janmole Dies

The Yoruba film industry has been thrown into mourning following reports of the death of actor and comedian Adeshina Okiki Oshin, popularly known as Janmole.

Naijaonpoint Nigeria understands that news of his passing emerged on June 1 after an Ibadan-based radio station announced the development on social media.

In a Facebook post, the station described the actor as a multi-talented entertainer whose contributions to the Yoruba movie industry would be remembered.

“Heartbreaking news hits the Yoruba movie industry as multi-talented actor, filmmaker, and comedian Adeshina Okiki Oshin, popularly known as Janmole, has reportedly passed away,” the post stated.

The station also extended condolences to his family, friends, the people of Okeho and members of the Nollywood community.

As of the time of filing this report, the cause of Janmole’s death had not been officially confirmed.

His reported passing came as a shock to many admirers, especially because he survived a serious accident more than a year ago.

His recovery at the time had raised hopes among fans and colleagues who feared for his life.
