Netherlands Police drags Pregnant Woman along floor by her hair (video)

Viral footage has captured the moment a pregnant woman was forcibly pulled to the ground by a police officer during a tense incident in Zeist, near Amsterdam.

The video shows several police officers in a corridor interacting with a man and a visibly pregnant woman. At the start of the clip, officers are seen gathered nearby as the woman stands a short distance away with the man.

One officer approaches the woman and appears to speak with her. Moments later, another officer arrives holding a baton and accompanied by a police dog.

The officer then appears to grab the woman by the arm before forcefully throwing her to the floor in the corridor.

Following the incident, a man believed to be associated with the woman rushes forward and attempts to confront the officer. The officer responds, and a wider altercation breaks out as additional police officers intervene.

In a subsequent clip, the woman appears dazed as she is dragged along the floor by officers, while bystanders watch the unfolding scene. At the same time, other officers are seen restraining the man involved in the confrontation.

Some reports suggest the incident occurred at an asylum center in the Netherlands, where officers were responding to allegations of vandalism and threats involving a knife.

Authorities are also reported to have been dealing with a 30-year-old Palestinian man facing deportation proceedings and under an entry ban. The man is believed to be the individual seen attempting to strike the officer, while the pregnant woman is reportedly his wife.

According to local reports, the woman said the confrontation began after she spoke with police at the detention facility where her husband was being held. The man was later arrested.

The incident has sparked widespread reactions online after the footage went viral.
