Nigerians dig up throwback video of Peggy Ovire praising estranged husband, Frederick Leonard for not being a womaniser

Following public allegations surrounding their ongoing divorce, a throwback video has resurfaced online showing actress Peggy Ovire praising her estranged husband, Frederick Leonard, for his fidelity.

In the viral footage captured during their wedding ceremony, Ovire is seen commending Leonard for not being a womaniser. She cited his faithfulness as a primary reason she stayed in the relationship and ultimately agreed to marry him. 

The video has sparked widespread commentary across social media platforms, contrasting sharply with the couple’s current legal and marital disputes.

The resurgence of the video follows a series of direct accusations made by Ovire on Instagram early this morning. Ovire accused Leonard of deliberately delaying their divorce proceedings by failing to appear at a scheduled court hearing. 

She further alleged that Leonard was involved with a married woman prior to their wedding, claiming the extramarital relationship persisted after their marriage.
