A marriage proposal at what appears to be a Pizza Inn restaurant inside a mall has gone dramatically wrong after the man popped the question only to be confronted by his girlfriend’s husband, who arrived on the scene moments later and revealed that the woman the man had dated for five years was already married.
The footage, which has gone viral on social media, shows the man arriving at the restaurant with a saxophonist playing a romantic melody to set the mood.
He knelt before his girlfriend, produced a ring and proposed only for the woman to appear visibly uncomfortable, apparently already aware of what was coming.
Within minutes, another man arrived and confronted the boyfriend, asking what was happening. The boyfriend rose and asked the same question in return, triggering a heated exchange in which both men revealed the length of time they had each spent with the woman, the one as her husband, the other as her boyfriend of five years.
The woman was left visibly mortified as the confrontation unfolded in the public restaurant setting. The husband ultimately instructed her to leave with him and warned the boyfriend never to approach her again.
The identities of all parties involved have not been confirmed. The video has generated widespread reactions across social media, with many expressing sympathy for the boyfriend and condemning the woman’s deception.
