Three Irish people feared dead in Malaga collision

It is understood that three people killed in a crash in Malaga, Spain, in the early hours of Sunday morning were Irish and from the Midlands.
Two others were injured.
One of the deceased and one of those injured are believed to be brothers, the Irish Examiner reported.
The crash happened at 2.38am on Sunday morning following a collision that sent one vehicle plunging around 30 metres down an embankment in Malaga.
Emergency services were deployed to the incident which took place at an Almeria-bound carriageway near the Cerrado de Calderón exit.
Two females and one male in their 20s and 30s are understood to have died in the collision, according to the paper.
Local reports say a 64-year-old woman was also treated at the scene. She is not believed to be Irish.
A 35-year-old man who was impacted by the collision was also taken to Malaga Regional Hospital.
The Department of Foreign Affairs is currently supporting those involved. In a statement released to the they said:
“The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade is aware of this incident in Spain, and is currently providing consular assistance to the families involved.
“The Department does not comment on the specifics of individual cases.”
