Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan or VDM, rallied his Ratels supporters into a march from Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport to the gates of the Nigerian Air Force Base.
He questioned the military’s effectiveness despite a ₦407 billion budget, citing ongoing kidn@ppings of schoolchildren, sexual assaults and the behead!ng of a teacher amid b@nditry in northern regions.
Supporters who travelled from across Nigeria shielded him during the peaceful protest, chanting against the APC government and demanding accountability for security spending. No clashes were reported.
