Cristiano Ronaldo sparks weekend wedding rumours after flaunting diamond ring like fiancée Georgina Rodriguez in Majorca

Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodriguez have sparked fresh speculation about their relationship after both were seen wearing matching diamond rings while boarding a luxury yacht in Majorca.

The Portuguese football star and Rodriguez were photographed with large diamond rings on their ring fingers, prompting reports in local media that the couple could be preparing to marry this weekend.

Some Portuguese media outlets claimed the wedding would take place on Saturday at the Quinta da Regaleira estate in Sintra, Portugal. However, the reports remain unconfirmed, and the venue is reportedly open to the public during the same period, casting doubt on the claims.

Ronaldo proposed to Rodriguez last year, and the model later shared a photo of her engagement ring on social media with the caption, “I do.”

The former Manchester United and Real Madrid forward has previously spoken publicly about his plans to marry Rodriguez after the 2026 FIFA World Cup. “I hope to arrive at my wedding with the champion’s trophy,” Ronaldo said in an earlier interview with Piers Morgan following the tournament.

He also described Rodriguez as the only woman he had wanted to spend his life with. “I’m going to marry her because I believe it’s the right time,” Ronaldo said. “Not just because she’s the mother of my children, but because she’s the person I love most.”

The couple met in 2016 when Rodriguez was working at a Gucci store in Madrid and have since built a family together. Recalling his proposal, Ronaldo said Rodriguez was initially unsure whether he was serious.

“She didn’t care about the ring. She asked me if I was speaking the truth. She said, ‘Are you honest?’ And I said, ‘Yes, I’m honest. I want you. I want to marry you.’ She didn’t believe me at first.” Neither Ronaldo nor Rodriguez has publicly confirmed reports of an imminent wedding.
