Ex-Nigerian High Commissioner to the UK, Abubakar Alhaji, is d£ad


Former Nigerian High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, Alhaji Abubakar Alhaji, has di£d.
The elder statesman passed on on Thursday morning, July 30, at a hospital in Abuja.
The former diplomat had been receiving medical treatment before his d£ath.
Alhaji served as Nigeriaâs High Commissioner to the United Kingdom.
He also served as Nigeriaâs Minister of Finance between 1990 and 1991 during the administration of former military President, Gen. Ibrahim Babangida.
He also served as Minister of State for Budget and Planning in 1988, and a former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, SGF.
He was also the Sardaunan Sokoto. He was turbaned in 1990, succeeding the late Premier of Northern Nigeria, Sir Ahmadu Bello.
