Lagos ports expect 26 ships with diverse cargoes — NPA

The Nigerian Ports Authority, NPA, says 26 ships laden with petroleum products, food items and other cargoes are expected to arrive at Apapa, Lekki Deep Sea Port and Tin Can Island in Lagos.
The NPA, in its Daily Shipping Position, on Tuesday, disclosed that the vessels were expected from July 21 to July 26.
The authority said that 11 of the incoming vessels were carrying containers loaded with assorted goods.
It said the remaining 15 ship were conveying bulk urea, petrol, general cargo, crude oil, diesel, aviation fuel, trucks, fresh fish, bulk wheat and vessels scheduled for repairs.
Meanwhile, the NPA said that 16 ships had arrived at the three ports and were awaiting berthing with petrol, bulk wheat, general cargo, bulk fertiliser, diesel, bulk urea, containers, bulk pallets and bulk sugar.
According to it, 25 ships are currently discharging cargoes at the three ports, including bulk wheat, general cargo, containers, petrol, diesel, crude oil, aviation fuel, bulk gypsum, bulk sugar and bulk gas.
