Makinde Unveils APM 2027 Campaign Council in Oyo

Seyi Makinde, the governor of Oyo State and the Allied People’s Movement’s presidential candidate, will open the party’s state presidential and governorship campaign council on Friday.

The event is set to take place at the Governor’s Office Conference Room in Ibadan, the state capital, at 3:30 p.m., according to a statement released on Wednesday by Sulaimon Olarenwaju, the governor’s special adviser on media.

The statement disclosed that the Executive Chairman of the state Universal Basic Education Board, Nureni Adeniran, would serve as both the Oyo State Coordinator of the APM 2027 Presidential Campaign and the Director-General of the state Governorship Campaign Council.

Other members listed include Saheed Arowosaye, former Chairman of Oyo East Local Government, as Deputy State Coordinator of the APM 2027 Presidential Campaign; Hon. Demola Ojo, Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters, as Deputy Director-General (South); Dr Femi Ojo and Alhaji Siju Lawal as Deputy Directors-General for Oyo Central and Oyo North Senatorial Districts respectively; Hon. Ramata Agberemi Dabo as Director, Women’s Wing; and Hon. Kazeem Bolarinwa, former Special Assistant on Youth to Governor Makinde, as Director, Youth Wing.

The statement added that additional members of the campaign structure would be announced in due course.
