Man arrested after fleeing from club where he ordered nearly N9 million worth of drinks, sprayed money and didn’t pay
A man has been arrested after allegedly ordering nearly ₦9 million worth of Martell at a venue and failing to pay the bill.
The incident, which has gone viral on social media, reportedly occurred after the suspect reserved a table and ordered several bottles of Martell, some of which were allegedly shared with other patrons. Witnesses claimed the man was also seen spraying cash during the outing before attempting to leave without settling the bill.
According to people present at the venue, the suspect later claimed he was unable to make payment because his banking app was not working. A viral video circulating online shows the man in handcuffs while being questioned following the incident.
