“I get marriage proposals every day” — DJ Cuppy

Nigerian DJ and entrepreneur Florence Otedola, popularly known as DJ Cuppy, has revealed that she receives marriage proposals every day, but joked that she responds to her grandmother’s questions about marriage with new academic certificates.

Speaking in a recent interview with Marie Claire, Cuppy said her growing collection of degrees has become her humorous way of “avoiding marriage.”

She also revealed that the proposals she receives are not just from fans, saying people are constantly trying to help her find a partner even though she has not asked for it.

Cuppy, who has studied at institutions including New York University, Oxford and King’s College London, said she remains focused on learning, philanthropy and understanding the industries she works in.
