“For years, I felt left out. I never got invited to baby showers, naming ceremonies or children’s birthdays” — Actress Mo’ Bimpe

Actress Mo’ Bimpe has reflected on her journey to motherhood after attending the birthday party of one-year-old Rakeem.

In a video, the actress recalled how she once felt left out because she was not invited to events such as baby showers, naming ceremonies and children’s birthday parties.

She said she often watched from afar and cried over the experience.

“Last year, I wasn’t a mom. But this year, I’m a mom of three boys,” she said.

Mo’ Bimpe encouraged women trying to conceive not to give up, saying her story is proof that their circumstances can change.

She added that attending Rakeem’s birthday and receiving an invitation meant a lot to her, especially after years of feeling excluded from similar celebrations.
