Bandits k!ll abducted Kaduna widow after her family failed to pay N12m ransom

Bandits have k!lled a Kaduna widow identified as Mama Mary after her family failed to pay the ransom demanded.
Security analyst and former governorship aide, Reuben Buhari, disclosed this in a Facebook post over the weekend.
According to him, the widow was abducted thirteen days after she spoke about the plight of refugees in her community, Kateri.
The abductors demanded N10m for her release but her family could raise only N2m.
On August 15, she was chained by the neck until she choked to d3ath.
“This is Mama Mary, a widow originally from Ariko village. She moved to Kateri because the growing insecurity around Ariko became unbearable for her family,” he wrote.
“On 15th June, during a protest highlighting the plight of refugees in Kateri, she spoke passionately about their suffering.
“Thirteen days later, she set out for Ariko for something, but was kidnapped on the road, along with three others.
“They demanded N10 million, but the family could raise only N2 million. On 15 August, she was chained by the neck until she choked to d3ath. Her body is still there. She leaves behind four children. Pray for them.”
