The Federal Civil Service Commission (FCSC) has commenced the online accreditation for officers on Salary Grade Levels 14, 15, and 16 due for promotion in the Federal Civil Service.

Prof. Tunji Olaopa, the Chairman of the FCSC, disclosed this in a statement by Ibraheem Zakariyya, Head of Press and Public Relations.

In the statement on Friday in Abuja, Zakariyya said that Olaopa directed all affected officers to complete their online accreditation through the commission’s designated promotion portal between Friday (today) and August 28, 2026.

He also said that prospective candidates would access the accreditation portal using login details that would be sent to their respective registered email addresses.

He advised all affected officers to complete the accreditation within the stipulated period, and emphasised that the portal would close on August 28, while the deadline would not be extended.

He further said that candidates who failed to complete their accreditation within the prescribed period would have to re-present themselves for the exercise in 2027.

He therefore urged all affected officers to take advantage of the period provided and complete the accreditation process before the closing date.

Olaopa also urged Permanent Secretaries, Accounting Officers, and Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) of Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) to bring the contents of the official correspondence to the attention of all concerned staff.

According to him, this should include officers serving at duty posts within and outside their headquarters, as well as those serving abroad for necessary compliance.

The FCSC boss advised all concerned officers and MDAs to comply fully with the guidelines and timelines provided for the exercise.
