A Nigerian man has sparked reactions online after revealing that he spent three days sleeping in an abandoned shop after being sent on a ₦10,000 errand.
The man, identified as @only1bangerlee on X, shared the unusual experience in a viral post.
According to him, he was given ₦10,000 to run an errand but decided to stop at a Bet9ja shop, hoping to use the money to win more.
However, things reportedly went wrong, leaving him unable to return home immediately.
He said he eventually resorted to sleeping in an abandoned shop located close to the Bet9ja outlet for three days.
The man explained that he avoided entering the shop during the day because he was afraid someone might recognise him.
After spending three days away from home, he eventually returned, where his parents reportedly welcomed him, gave him food and appeared relieved to see him.
However, he claimed the situation took a different turn later that night when his parents allegedly punished him with belts.
“I received belt to ass from both of them at once. The painful part was that I couldn’t scream for help because the match happened at midnight,” he wrote.
His story has since generated reactions on X, with social media users sharing different views about his decision to gamble the errand money and his parents’ response when he eventually returned home.
