Police Recover Stolen Electricity Cables In Kebbi, Arrest Suspect

Police in Kebbi State have recovered stolen electricity cables and arrested a suspect.
Officers found ten bundles and seven sacks of service cables during an operation in Bunza town on August 25.
The theft and vandalism of electricity infrastructure in the area had left several communities without power.
The suspect, Mustapha Abubakar, was caught in connection with the recovered cables and taken to court.
The police commissioner said the command is committed to protecting important national assets and bringing those responsible for stealing and destroying them to justice.
He warned that people who commit these crimes will face the full force of the law.
He urged residents to help police by reporting suspicious activity.
People can call the police with tips about theft or vandalism, and all information will be kept confidential.
