Reality TV star and businesswoman Zari The Boss Lady has ignited debate on social media after sharing her controversial views on relationships, financial provision, and infidelity.
Speaking during a TikTok livestream, the Ugandan socialite criticised men who prevent their partners from working but fail to provide for their financial needs.
According to Zari, no woman should be left financially dependent on a partner who refuses to support her after insisting that she does not work.
She argued that if another person is willing to offer emotional and financial support to such a woman, she should not feel guilty about accepting the help.
In one of the most controversial parts of her remarks, Zari suggested that a woman who becomes involved with someone else because her partner neglects his responsibilities should not be viewed as cheating.
According to her, if a man neither provides for nor takes care of his partner after stopping her from earning her own income, seeking support elsewhere amounts to “self-defence” rather than infidelity.
Her comments have since sparked mixed reactions online, with some social media users agreeing that financial neglect can damage relationships, while others argued that cheating is never justified regardless of the circumstances.
