Award-winning Nollywood filmmaker Dimbo Atiya has passed away.
News of his death was announced on social media by actor Mofe Duncan, who paid tribute to the late director.
Dimbo Atiya was widely respected in the Nigerian film industry for his exceptional storytelling and directing skills. He was an Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) recipient and directed several acclaimed productions, including Sons of the Caliphate, Halita, and numerous other films and television series.
His passing has left colleagues, fans, and members of the entertainment industry mourning the loss of one of Nollywood’s celebrated filmmakers.
