Avvideo showing a Nigerian man brut@lly ass@ulting a woman has sparked widespread outrage and calls for police intervention across social media.
The 58-second clip depicts an unidentified man holding a woman in a chokehold while repeatedly punching her in the face. Despite the woman’s attempt to stop him, the suspect continued the physical attack. In the video, the assailant can be heard issuing d£ath threats in Igbo, stating, “I will kill you today. You want to die?”
A witness at the scene captured the entire assault on a mobile device. Upon noticing the recording, the suspect confronted and warned him to stop filming, to which the witness falsely claimed he was not recording the incident.
The footage has triggered intense backlash online, with numerous social media users demanding the immediate arrest and prosecution of the suspect. Unconfirmed reports suggest the incident occurred in Abia State.
