Why should a father bury his child? Why didn’t you take my own life? Grief-stricken man seeks answers after d3ath of his 6-year-old daughter

A Nigerian father, Clouds Solomon Chindo, has been thrown into mourning following the d3ath of his 6-year-old daughter. 

Sharing a photo with his daughter, the grieving father questioned God, asking why he should have to bury his child. 

He described her d3ath as ‘weird and absurd’, saying God should have taken his own life instead. 

“Why should a father bury his child? God I need answers, this is weird and absurd. God please grant me peace,” he wrote in a Facebook post on Sunday, June 21, 2026.

 

“What I feared the most has happened to me. God, why didn’t you take my own life and leave this innocent girl? 

 

“No, I will never take this, the devil really got me here It’s too much for me to bear.”
