Davido Reveals His Biggest Fear After Years at the Top

Afrobeats singer, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has opened up on his biggest fear in life.

In a video broadcast, Davido disclosed that his biggest fear is not knowing when to quit music, explaining that it is unsettling to watch celebrities who once held sway eventually fall out of favour.

The singer said that if he had the means, he would build a therapy centre for people who have experienced fame and success only to later fall from grace, describing it as difficult to fathom being at the top of the world one moment and losing that standing the next.

He cited football as an example, noting that even athletes who have won trophies such as the World Cup and Champions League are often still not seen as having done enough, pointing to his friend Cristiano Ronaldo, who he said was mocked despite his achievements after exiting a World Cup.

He described this as his greatest fear, saying he had worked too hard to risk ruining it and that he prays daily for God to show him the right time to step away from music.
