A man accused of posing as a pastor has reportedly been arrested after allegations that he defrauded more than 10 women of large sums of money.
According to claims circulating online, the suspect allegedly used religion and spiritual claims to gain the trust of his victims before allegedly exploiting them financially.
One alleged victim claimed: “He is a scammer who has scammed multiple women. More than 10 women. And he claims to be a pastor. He tells the women the Lord said they are his wives, then targets you and scams you. We are talking about heavy dollars.”
The allegations suggest that the suspect allegedly approached women by claiming they had a spiritual connection with him and that they were chosen to become his wives. After gaining their confidence, he allegedly requested money from them.
The claims have sparked outrage online, with many people warning the public to be cautious of individuals who use religious authority or spiritual promises to manipulate others.
However, the allegations against the suspect have not yet been fully proven in court. He remains presumed innocent unless found guilty through the legal process.
