Lagos Commissioner for Environment vows to pursue legal action against X user who shared false information about flooding in Lagos
The Lagos State Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources, Tokunboh Wahab, says legal action will be taken against an X-user who shared a false post about flooding in Lagos State.
The X-user shared a video of a flooded city and claimed it happened in Lagos State.
After he was called out by the Commissioner, the X-User deleted the video and acknowledged his mistake via his X handle.
Responding, Wahab said taking the video down doesn’t absolve the X-user and that legal actions will be taken accordingly.
