Man narrates how he ended up on a date with a married woman after meeting her online

A Nigerian man has narrated how he ended up spending over ₦50,000 on a date with a woman he met online, only to allegedly find out afterwards that she was married.

According to him, the two had been chatting for a while before he invited her to his house. She declined and suggested they meet at a restaurant instead.

He agreed and claimed that by the time he arrived, the woman had already started ordering food and drinks. He said he continued with the date despite this and ended up spending over ₦50,000 as she ordered more items.

After the date, he said he booked a Bolt ride to his house for them, only for the woman to allegedly tell him that she was married and could not have anything intimate with him.

The man claimed he was surprised because she had never mentioned being married despite their lengthy conversations and alleged that he had also sent her money on several occasions.
