World Cup 2026: Erling Haaland makes promise after England eliminate Norway

Norway striker, Erling Haaland, has vowed to keep working hard, improve himself and do everything he can to help his team achieve better results going forward.
Haaland spoke at his post-match interview after England eliminated Norway from the World Cup in a quarter-final encounter on Saturday.
Recall that Haaland failed to score as Jude Bellingham’s brace ensured the Three Lions eliminated Norway from the competition.
“I want to thank every Norwegian fan who supported us throughout the tournament. We know we let you down tonight, and that is very painful,” Haaland said.
“Today we leave with disappointment, but I will keep working hard, continue to improve myself, and do everything I can to help Norway achieve better results.
“That is both my responsibility and one I am willing to take on.”
