2026 Conversation: Obedient To God Attracts All Round Success And Blessings Says Ikhuiwu

The Spiritual Leader Chairman Church Council Christ Chosen Church of God International, Snr. Apostle (Dr) David Unuefe Ikhuiwu The Elect of God, Receives the Church Convention Flag to declare open this Year 2026, Annual International Convention “NO STORM CAN SWALLOW THE BOAT” at the Cathedral of Christ Chosen Church of God International Benin-Agbor Road Benin city.

The Spiritual leader/Chairman Church Council of Christ’s Chosen Church of God int’l (CCCOGI) Snr. Apst. (Dr.) David Unuefe Ikhuiwu has called on Christians to be absolutely obedient to God to enable them attain all round success and blessings in their lives endeavour.

Apst. Unuefe Ikhuiwu who spoke to the congregation while delivering his welcome address at the 2026 annual international convention with the theme: “No Storm can Swallow The Boat, Luke 8:22-24” said CCCOGI is unique and founded through the power of the Holy Ghost and governed as a theocratic institution.

The Spiritual leader said notwithstanding the economic and security challenges in Nigeria, God’s providence upon his children and the church has continued to strengthen the faith of Christian.

“God’s providence upon his children and the church has continued to strengthen our faith and confidence that with God on our side, we shall continue to achieve success as we earnestly pursue our individual aspirations and God’s vision for the church”.

Delivering his sermon which he titled “The kingdom of God suffereth violence”, reading from Math 11:12, Pastor and Director of finance of CCCOGI, Michael Ochonogor said every kingdom pursuit must be geared towards God’s glory.

“Jesus overcame every social, age, economic, political, financial, intellectual barriers to reach out to all men. The common enemy of the church is the devil , the church ought to synergize to fight the enemy of the church”.

The venue of the convention at New Auditorium along Benin-Agbor road, Ohovbe quarters Benin City was filled to capacity with members across the 36 States of the Federation including the Federal Capital Territory and diaspora participants were all in attendance.

The highpoint of the activities of the opening day of the one week convention was the unveiling of the theme for the 2026 international convention.

The convention which will last for a week commenced on Wednesday 19th through Monday 24th of August 2024 at 9am daily.
